Sagittarius is the Archer who seeks to go to faraway places.  And like that arrow Sagittarius’ knowledge covers a lot of territory.  Its wisdom is greater than what can be found in books.  Because it’s a fire sign it comes from a visceral inner knowing as opposed to Gemini where its source is a ravenous curiosity.  Sagittarius wants to implement and distribute its beliefs not just to its nuclear environment, but to the masses.

This Sagittarius New Moon will mark not only the final eclipse of 2021, but also the last eclipse under the Gemini North Node/Sagittarius South Node cycle.  We entered this nodal cycle back in May of 2020 and it won’t return for another 19 years.  Good riddance, right?

But take this time to reflect on what has changed for you since then.  We as a collective have undeniably gone through many changes.  And part of these changes has been a crescendo in expressing individual and societal beliefs.    

One of the major themes of Sagittarius are our Beliefs.  Yes, not just our beliefs, but our Beliefs.  The ones that govern how we define and interact with the world.  The ones that mold how we live our lives and what we want the entirety of them to reflect.  

With the South Node in Sagittarius this last year and a half we were pushed to reassess and release any Belief that no longer represents our Truth.

Our beliefs shape our reality and the world we play in.  If you no longer believe in working tirelessly for an entity that doesn’t wholly value or respect you, how do you create a new world for yourself where you don’t have to?  Or if you no longer believe in inherited stories of your self worth how do you show up with your new sense of self?  These aren’t easy adjustments, but they’re examples of how it takes real work to truly expel old beliefs. 

The tarot card for Sagittarius is Temperance.  This card elicits a time to find a balanced heart.  A balance between what? Our mind and heart.  Like a seesaw it calls you to find the fulcrum between the two.  Justice is clarity of objective truth.  Temperance is taking that knowledge and integrating it with your inner wisdom (heart) to find your Truth.

As we leave this nodal axis we are coming to a final release from superfluous beliefs whether we think we’re ready or not.

Mars is here to help.  It is super active and fully equipped being in its sign of rulership (Scorpio).  In this lunation it’s working in harmony with Neptune (the planet of our dreams), Pluto (planet of our power), and Venus (planet of our values).  We will be motivated to take well thought out actions towards our dreams and ideals.  We will be empowered by our values to take these bold steps fearlessly (Scorpio and Capricorn don’t f*ck around).  

The Sun and Moon will also be hanging out with the planet Mercury, which will offer you clarity and support self expression during this process.  So don’t worry you are fully supported and the Universe has your back.
